Hot cross bun French toast Yummmmm

2 hot cross buns, halved
1 egg
25 mls milk
a pinch nutmeg
10gms butter

Gently whisk together the egg, milk and nutmeg in a bowl. Melt the butter in a thick-based frying pan over a medium heat.
Press each half of the hot cross buns into the eggy mixture on both sides.
Cook in the melted butter until golden brown on each side. Serve immediately.
